Casie Gillette brings strategic leadership in SEO, social media, and online marketing to the KoMarketing team on behalf of client initiatives and the organization as a whole.
July 05, 2012 WALTHAM, Mass.– (BUSINESS WIRE)– KoMarketing Associates would like to announce that Casie Gillette has joined as the Director of Online Marketing for the organization. Gillette will join KoMarketing Associates from Grasshopper, where she was the Manager of Online Marketing. She brings to the organization strategic leadership for client initiatives and organizational development.
“I’m really excited to be joining the KoMarketing team. I’m extremely impressed with the company’s recent growth and more importantly the long-term vision.” said Gillette. “They have some great talent and I am looking forward to being part of it.”
With more than eight years of industry experience, Casie regularly speaks about SEO and link building at national and local search marketing conferences, including the Search Marketing Expo and WordCamp Boston. Casie recently spoke in Seattle at SMX Advanced, one of the premier conferences for advanced SEO, PPC, and social media in the industry.
Joining KoMarketing represents Gillette’s second tour with the company, having served as an SEO Strategist for the organization prior to her role at Grasshopper. Her experience with clients and business leaders has included a range of companies across industries and organizational sizes.
“I have been fortunate to have stayed in communication with Casie throughout her time at Grasshopper”, said Derek Edmond, Managing Partner of KoMarketing. “The combination of talent, expertise, and drive is something special. As our organization continues to expand and offer a more comprehensive internet marketing solution, team leaders like Casie are hard to find and critical to have.”
“With other agencies, the tendency is to see a flurry of work initially, and then communication and accountability starts to fall off. Our KoMarketing account team is in contact with us almost daily – it’s like they’re sitting right here in our office. They’re truly an extension of our marketing team.”
