Mad Libs for Content Marketers

A super silly way to have fun with content marketing!

We all remember the word game from when we were kids: Mad Libs.  Whether it was back-seat entertainment during that never-ending road trip to Grandma’s or good, clean fun for the whole family seated around the kitchen table, Mad Libs has been teaching children the basics of grammar, sentence structure, parts of speech, and vocabulary for decades.  But who says it has to end there?

According to a July Next Web blog post, “Once you delve into the word of Business-to-Business (B2B) communications, a lot of rules, regulations, and seriousness must be applied.”  But we at KoMarketing are here to say: not always!  By using Mad Libs to rethink your approach to content marketing, you may very well uncover some fresh ideas to deliver to your target audience.  So take 5 minutes out of your day and, by yourself or with a colleague, fill in the blanks for an absurd, illuminating, surprising, or just plain crazy take on content marketing.

Remember: Don’t cheat!  To begin playing, DO NOT scroll down to look at the story below.  Instead, fill in the blanks with the words called for (go here for a printable version).  Then, using the words you have selected, substitute them in for the blank spaces in the story.  Have fun!
