30 B2B Digital Marketers Team up to Create B2Beacon Educational Initiative

BusinessOnline, ClickZ, and 30 B2B digital marketing experts have teamed up to create “B2Beacon,” an online educational resource designed to provide today’s B2B marketers with best practices and insights into the always evolving digital marketing space.

B2Beacon is a new (and free) educational resource that provides users with a “New Approach” and “How-To-Guides and Insights” that provides B2B marketers with an opportunity to gain a competitive advantage over competition. All resources and guides are based on current research and real-world experience.

The online resource is centered around a term they deemed “The Company Buying Journey,” a new approach for B2B digital marketing centered on the prospect or customer as they travel through a continuous, looping buying journey, according to a ClizkZ article.

Mike Grehan, publisher, at ClickZ, said about the new resource in the ClickZ article, “We recognized a major gap in the B2B education market. We knew we could and needed to do better, so we assembled a group of advisors to create resources to meet the unique needs of B2B marketers.”

Experts making contributions to B2Beacon are from several respected organizations including Adobe, Bizo, BMA, Conductor, Content Marketing Institute, DemandBase, ExactTarget, Forrester Research, Google, Kenshoo, LinkedIn, Marketo, and Salesforce.com.

B2Beacon has been introduced to provide a central location comprised of industry expert advice to direct today’s B2B marketers towards success in the evolving digital space and fluid B2B buying cycle.
