Survey: Nearly Half of Marketers Using AI to Boost Overall Marketing Efforts
Many marketers are already integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into their everyday strategies. However, new research suggests that they want to do so in order to boost creativity and personalize the customer experience.
Persado recently published the results of the “AI and Creativity Survey,” and statistics showed that 48% of respondents are already using AI to improve the performance of their marketing efforts. Furthermore, 67% say that they have seen a 10% to 70% boost in revenue as a result of utilizing AI technologies.
In general, 85% of marketers say that they would still like to personalize content and create more individual experiences through digital channels, and AI could help with this. About 60% want to improve the customer experience, while 46% would like to offer more personalized experiences.
Personalizing Digital Marketing Channels
As marketers continue to look for ways to provide more unique experiences to their customers, previous research suggests that they believe the majority of their target audience wants more customized interactions.
Merkle conducted “The State of Digital Transformation” report, and data suggested that the majority of marketers (80%) believe their customers care about personalization “a great deal.” About 17% stated that they at least care about it a “moderate amount.”
For their customer experience initiatives, most marketers (34%) claim that they have between three and four personalized channels to date. Nearly 33% have between five and six channels personalized, while 7% have eight or more personalized channels.
